In the first paragraph, Shawna states, “Every day you choose to heal yourself or destroy yourself.” Such true words that I have taken to heart and choose to think about with every decision I make in a day. I read this book in one night, as I couldn’t put it down. The book is very organized, get to the point style that is perfect for all of us busy women looking to improve our sleep and overall well being. Sleep is elusive for many women and the effects of diminished sleep is something that we should take seriously. This book puts into perspective how important sleep is, and how we need to prioritize sleep if we are going to continue to conquer our own worlds everyday! As Shawna points out, “The World Needs You”. Shawna has been able to lay out seven steps that anyone can do to enhance sleep and ultimately enhance their life. The suggestions in this book can easily be incorporated into your busy lifestyle and have you sleeping in a peaceful, restorative way that we all deserve.
