:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from DJ Stolarz -- Remarkable and Riveting! : Author LYN GARDNER has created an excellent story with her latest one, BIDING TIME! From the very first page, I became so immersed in the story that I lost track of time! Not only were the characters exceptional, but LYN'S vivid imagination allowed for her to explore their individual backgrounds with phenominal exactness and realism. As a reader, I could "see" all that she was describing throughout the story! LYN'S attention to detail was second to none, and she never failed to tie them all together! Suffice it to say that there were many twists and turns within the storyline, and the dialogue between the two main character, Bennett & Lisa was oftentimes hysterical! Although author LYN GARDNER is not known for writing sequels, I really encourage her to continue with the saga. IMHO, there is a multitude of future storylines that could be explored! - 5.0 out of 5 stars from LISA GRADY -- FANTASTIC : If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. It grabbed my attention from the first page all the way through until the end. I literally could not put it down. It has all of the intrigue of a suspense novel, with a love story. It was brilliantly written. Lyn is my favorite author, and all of her books are highly recommended. The only complaint I have is that there are enough books by this author. YET! But Lyn Gardner puts the time and effort into her characters and the plot to make it a worthwhile read. I loved the story. And , No, I don’t think it should become a series. I’ll say that I didn’t like how one of the main characters, character arcs are disrupted at the climax of the book. I’m trying not to give spoilers away, but I loved the history/flashbacks of the vampire, and that did take up much of the book, the sec was not too much, it was at times descriptive then at other times vague, do I would have perfected a more steady hand with that. There were several times when I was like: ‘wow, I did not see that coming!’ I’m not one to drop spoilers so I will just say that if you enjoy Lyn Gardner’s work or vampire books in general it’s a must read. Then imagine how thrilled I was to begin reading and realize that not only were two of my favorites combined but done so very well.
